Monday 5/26
My fiancé and I both have local credit unions in the cities we lived in previous to moving in together and this has been not a problem at all except for when we need to go to an ATM…
Now, both of us are relatively bright people and using an ATM is pretty standard stuff so this should not have been such an adventure as it was for us this afternoon.
Taking Bob for a walk we stopped at a local credit union ATM and first had a difficult time getting it to display stuff in English – which is another topic on its own, we are in America, the default should be English…
After we did that we couldn’t figure out which buttons matched with which options so we had to start over like 3 times before actually being able to make the withdraw, and then, once we had figured all of that out the ATM canceled the withdraw due to insufficient funds but on our receipt we could clearly see that our balance was correct… After two more tries we finally realized that insufficient funds meant that the machine was out of cash.
Help.
