Ever seen someone really just BITE IT?  I mean take a tumble that looks excruciating but makes you crack up?

I had one of those moments today, at work.  My coworker was walking into the building with what looked like a beautiful chocolate cake.  And out of not where she just took a nose dive!  The plate shattered and thank goodness there was saran wrap on it cause her face planted right into the edge.  It was hysterical.

Of course I rushed out to help her up but I was busting a gut while doing it.

And the funniest part of it all is that she came in, cut out the part that had the shape of her face in it and touched up the frosting so that she could still share it with the rest of the staff.

Is it bad that I don’t want a piece?

I just thought I would add my own personal story about biting it.

I was in my freshmen year of college, living in the dorms. Like any 18 year old I woke up at 8:40 before my 9 am class. Those 20 minutes were just enough time to put a cup-of-noodles into the microwave (for breakfast), brush my teeth, wash my face, get dressed, put my hair up, and rush out the door. It was a foggy morning in San Luis Obispo. The sidewalk was wet with dew and water from the sprinklers. Coming down the hill, where all the dorms are located, my flip flop slipped on the wet pavement. In a split second I struggled to find my balance and threw the cup-of-noodles into my face. The really hot and salty water was all over my face and chest, along with the carrots, peas and noodles although out my hair. Aside from being in pain, barely able to see, I was in a total state of shock and stood there for what seemed forever. Everything happened so quickly, I had no idea what hit me. A fellow freshmen walking to class stopped and offered me some binder paper to wipe my face, the best she had at moment. Once the girl found out I was ok, we laughed together at the ridiculous of the situation.
