I am a sucker for kids. And a sucker for shoes. I cannot help it.
So you can imagine how hard I fell for one of Bryan’s friend’s children.
Imagine the cutest little 3 year old blonde ever toddling around with Shirley Temple curls toting her plastic lizard (Larry the Lizard) around with her and showing off her Dora the Explorer crocks…
At one point I was walking in the grass and had taken off my white 2.5 inch healed strappy sandals. As I turn to put them back on I see Little Miss Adorable wide eyed and discarding her crocks with an unregretting abandonment that only a 3 year old has. She teetered over to my shoes, put them on and in the most exaggerated movie star pose she turns to me to discuss her find.
What can I say? I almost kidnapped her.
