Thursday 8/28
I’m going through one of those weeks where I simply cannot wake up on time. Its crazy the way my fiance an I pounce on the alarm clocks – we’re up to a total of two cell phones and one clock – along with having two alarm times set on each of the cell phones…
This morning, however, there was no way we could sleep through or snooze the “alarm” that woke us up at just the right time.
We live across the street from an elementary school and a high school and let me say, we loved the summer. No morning announcements, no trouble with parking…
This morning, a new driver took about 15 minutes to parallel park in front of our house, all the while blaring their stereo and singing at the top of their lungs. And, although I loved the song that was blaring, the teenager was surely tone deaf so it was quite painful.
I felt like a little old man – wanting to shake my cane above my head and scream “get off-a my lawn” and giggled to myself thinking about it…
