Wednesday 9/3
On of my closest friends and I work out together. Its a grueling hour and a half (plus on some days) that we torture ourselves with in an effort to be healthy and I’ll admit, loose some weight. Currently we alternate between heavy lifting and intense cardio with a trainer.
Yesterday was a heavy lifting day and the last unbearable exercise that we do is called a Janda Sit Up. One person lays down and holds a 30 pound weight above their head with one hand. Slowly you lift the weight directly up, working your abs much more than your arm. The other perso, the spotter, leans on the thighs of the other person causing the abdominal muscles to do all of the work and not allowing the hip flexors to help at all.
I explain all of this because we almost had a woopsie daisy last night while doing these. I was the spotter, and my friend who is much stronger than I am had gone up in weight. It was a long day and she was exhausted (as was I) and nearly lost her grip on the 35 pound weight. Immediately I burst out into giggles which distracted her but when I explained why I was laughing she joined me… Based on our positioning at that exact moment, if she had let go of the weight it would have hit me direclty on the back of my head causing my face to plummet directly into her “vajay-jay” if you catch my drift.
It was a classic QF moment for two women who were physically exhausted and quite easily entertained anyway.
