And what’s great about that is…
My husband to be is always saying that phrase right before he says something pretty profound.
Last night we were watching Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. Ok. I was watching it and he was sitting on the couch with me and was making fun of it. At one point there was a huge altercation – I love drama! – and there were consistent threats of “well come over here and say that to my face” or “I wish I could stab that bitch in her tit and it would pop and spill out” (that one was my personal fav)… At this point Corrie, one of the girls caught in the tussle, was sitting calmly on the stairs arguing with the other, Zui, and in my opinion was holding her own. Until Zui said “just keep sitting there all alone” which caused Corrie to spring up and run over and sit closer to the rest of the bunch who were all restraining Zui from getting physical with Corrie.
This is when Bryan looked up and said “and what’s great about that is that Corrie is so afraid of being alone that that was the statement that hurt her the most”
In my opinion Corrie is the most likely to actually be friends with Paris Hilton in real life. And I think that is pretty obvious – they are almost mirror images. And later it was revealed that Corrie was voted the most fake on the show – when Perez Hilton asked Paris Hilton what she thought about it she said “I don’t want to have a best friend that everyone thinks is fake. This really upsets me.” she actually looked personally offended.
Bryan laughed and said “and what’s great about that is that Paris is feeling all sorts of self conscious that she seems fake too. Isn’t it amazing seeing the human psyche unravel on tv?”
