“Everyday is Everything” – Dove Soap
The other day I went to a seminar for writers on social networking. A wonderful blogger turned author who is about to be published was speaking – www.mousewords.net in case you want to read her stuff. She said that her newest favorite quote was one she found on the package of a Dove Bar of Soap.
“Everyday is Everything”
Clearly, as mousewords was saying, this was meant to be about bathing. But it so has to do with writing and promoting yourself in social media. Even if its 2 minutes to have presence online it makes sense to do.
But I want to take this a step further. We should be doing everything we care about everyday.
We should be telling our loved ones that we love them and they are important to us EVERYDAY, we should laugh EVERYDAY, we should work hard EVERYDAY, we should relax EVERYDAY, we should challenge ourselves EVERYDAY, we should compromise EVERYDAY, stand up for what we believe in EVERYDAY…
The more I’ve been thinking about this the more it rings true for me. I think about how much better my life would be if everyday I did a little bit of everything. Yes, it would mean my life would be busier, but it also would mean that it would have more value.
