At this new job of mine, like almost any new job, training monopolizes the first week of employment. And let me start by saying that I am totally LOVING my new job and really feel like its a great fit for me. However, training is always boring.
Even if you like the braod spectrumn of what you’re learning sitting in a cold conference room by yourself watching an outdated viedo (yes, video, like literally on VHS) is never fun.
So I’ll fess up to texting my fiance back and forth constantly while watching these. He is away for the week and I miss him and we’d gotten a little fresh with our text messages – a little naughty in nature if you catch my drift… And the phone was on vibrate and I had put it in my lap… You do the math…
So yea, getting a text from my new boss checking in on me and the video progress and saying that she’d be back from her meeting soon and how we’d be having lunch with our director… yea, that was kinda weird.
