Laundry

I have told this story… or rather vented my frustrations on this topic to ALL of my friends…  My husband thinks that all clothing is dirty.

We laugh as we bicker about this subject almost daily – he thinks that if he’s worn something it is then dirty.  To me an item of clothing is only dirty if a) it smells or b) it has something on it.  Am I wrong?

My husband (I know I used to refer to him by name, Bryan, but now that he is my husband I like saying those words – MY HUSBAND, MY HUSBAND, MY HUSBAND – so there)  Anyway, he has developed a loop hole.  Smart man that he is…  We both agree, something is dirty if you sleep in it… So what does he do?  He simply wears his clothes to bed when he wants to wash them.  So aggravating!

But we had a breakthrough last night.  As he was taking off a new shirt of his which he “earned” by modeling it in a fashion show (which is a story in of itself!)…  ANyway, as he was taking it off he folded it gingerly and I gasped.  It was the second time he wore it, so right off the bat I knew this was big but putting it away for a THIRD time?  Unheard of!

In response to my gasp he said, and I quote “Its not dirty yet, plus, its such a pretty blue, I don’t want it to fade!”  In an effort not to jinx the situation I quietly tiptoed into the bathroom before laughing my arse off.
