The Dress
I sell advertising space online and in print locally in San Luis Obispo, CA. Part of my job, as every sales job, includes riding with managers – both direct and high up.
Today I rode with a guy named Paul who is from our parent company’s corporate headquarters. He specializes in the online side of life and comes about for times a year to update us, train us and help us SELL SELL SELL.
At our third and last appointment this morning I had a little wardrobe malfunction. As I was getting out of my car I could feel the zipper coming unzipped – I gasped in horror and felt around… Sure enough, from the nap of my neck to the base of my bottom the entire dress’ zipper had just split.
Good thing Paul has a sense of humor, after asking if a safety pin would do the trick he burst into laughter and tears started streaming down his face. It was crazy. Needless to say we piled back into my car, I canceled the last appointment and “zipped” home to change…
Here is a PG version of the damage!
