Oh Yea, I’m Crazy
While talking to a professional (we’ll call him LC) about my frustrations and rage that comes up, the kind of rage that terrifies onlookers and that I’m deeply ashamed of, this conversation ensued:
AC: But I don’t understand why I get to that point. When I get upset how come I can’t just be upset. How come I muffle it until it takes over my body? Why must I cause the inevitable and go overboard?
LC: Because you are so afraid. Its not anger, its fear. Fear of where you are. You’re right on the edge.
AC: The edge of what?
LC: The edge of crazy.
AC: Oh yea, I’m crazy. Right.
