Questionably Fabulous

It’s like The Muppets Take Manhattan but instead it was The Mitisek’s taking Buckingham!  What a wonderful day wondering around London.  Bryan is napping as I type – silly boy woke up at 4:30 am, I guess he didn’t adjust as well as I did to the new time zone.  It’s either standard exhaustion or it’s the ba-gillion miles we walked today!  So exciting. 

The only Questionably Fabulous thing about London so far is that I’ve had to pay to pee twice today.  Yeap, this city is going to cost me a lot of money given how often I empty my bladder!  And of course, in true AC Fabulous fashion what do I do?  First I jam up the line trying to figure out which of the many coins I have is the 20 pence coin, when I find that I only have a ten, two fives and a 50 pence coin I step out of line and meander aimlessly around until I find the change station.  Because, of course, the toilets only take two 10 pence coins or one 20 pence coin.  I finally make change and get to the toilet and then the two 10 pence coins get stuck.  So, now at the point of almost wetting myself I have to go up to the management booth and request that they help me out.  No worries, the second incident flowed like…  well, you know…

And, ok, wait, there was definitely another QF Moment when Bryan and I were exiting our first Tube and trying to make a transfer to another one.  There I am scrambling to stay with him (classic tourist, mouth open wide, staring at the signs all around, taking in all of the fashions etc) and when I catch up to him I say, completely seriously, “I could have been snatched up and you never would have known!  Hold my hand!” and then I actually stomped my foot!  Where is my mother when I need her most?  LOL
