Bob the Almighty!
Just received this lovely email from my lil guy. I miss him so very much.
BOB THE DOG……is so great! My people love me to death!! The lady you gave me to is over the moon about me, and even her husband is too. I am now officially a big squirrl hunter, it took me a while to hone in my skills but I’ve done it. My new mom and dad tell me everyday that I’m needed down at the barn to wipe those suckers out!
The other day I killed 4 squirrls and one mouse (I don’t like to discriminate on my prey) all in a days work! Don;t worry mom, I don’t eat them, I just leaves them allover the place. Everyone says I’m just like a kid with toys. The other day it was really hot and I was chasing a squirrel. I was in hot pursuit and once I’d gotten a hold of the devil animal I jumped right into one of the big horse water troffs with the squirrel still in my mouth so I could cool off. I thought I had earned a little swim! Anyway, I guess Ijust left him there and started drinking water cause all my people (parents and stable hands) starting laughing. At least I killed some varmint and kept them all entertained!
I am happy to tell you that I sleep with my new mom every night, she lets me cuddle with her and I get (and give) lots of kisses to her whenever she asks. It’s like you before Bryan came along. Don’t get me wrong, I love Bryan (tell him I said “wud-up”) but I much prefer being the only man in a woman’s life. I know you were worried about me getting along with Dolly, the old Beagle here, but we get along great. We lay by each other on the blankets under our mom’s feet when she watches TV. After a long day of hunting and working my paws to the bone it’s nice to relax with her.
Anyway, my new mom just thought you would like an up date about HER (she made sure to emphasize that I was hers now) little guy. I am well loved and I never play with any of my old toys anymore cause I’m just to busy being “Bob The Dog” on the farm. I will try to remember to have some pictures from Easter sent to you. My family has two little boys that love to dress me up, my bag with all my clothes goes with me everywhere, it’s like I have an entourage!
So, how are things going with you? I feel like we’ve had so much rain this year even the horses get lost in the weeds! Is that the way London is?
All my love, thanks again for giving me away,
Bobbersman
