Questionably Fabulous

… are in all right places!  Officially, the doctor said so!  If you are on Facebook you can watch the latest ultrasound on my or Bryan’s page. 

Motherhood so far has been awesome.  I say that and then giggle…  I’ve been so sick, although now that I’m in my 13th week morning sickness has subsided some…  But overall I love being pregnant.  I thought there was a chance I’d feel kinda self conscious about my changing body but I’ve found that I can’t wait to have my bump grown… I am constantly touching it and rubbing it.  I have been talking to the baby and singing to it.  And I keep imagining what he or she will look like.

Its been interesting though seeing my relationship with my husband change.  Will we always be as romantic and in love?  Will he be able to tell that part of my love for this baby is my love for him?  I can tell that being first time parents will require us to be really aware of how we are with each other as well as tackling all the parenting stuff. 

It’s been quite the journey so far and even though some of it’s been rough (puking in the middle of a park on my way home) and some of it’s been odd (why can’t I eat chicken anymore?) all in all I can tell I was totally made for motherhood.  And I can’t wait to see what’s next.
