Questionably Fabulous

Like many of you out there, I love to people watch. Sit me at an outdoor restaurant facing the street and it’s almost like sitting in front of a TV! Especially if it’s warm outside and people are wearing all sorts of funny stuff. Or in a foreign country, I cannot resist imaging what the people are thinking about or what their lives are like. I love watching couples too. I like to try and guess if they are on the first date or if the date is going well etc. and I cannot help it, I laugh hysterically when people trip or when they pick a weggie or do anything somewhat embarrassing. As a side note, I laugh at myself when I trip and often I look up to see if anyone was watching so we can laugh together. I do pick weggies also, but I tend not to make eye contact afterwards, a lady’s gotta have some class, right? LOL

Was going to expand on my Highlights posting but then I had THE MOST Questionably Fabulous day yesterday with the most famous (see how British I’m getting) of mix ups. Two performed by none other than me but then directly after Bryan had quite the blunder as well. Crazy.

Went to the airport today to move to London. We had too many bags, so many that the rental car shuttle refused to take us to the airport…

Ever notice how women are much better at spotting things in bars? I mean, if you’re looking for someone, it is always a girl in the group who finds that missing friend. If you’re hunting for a bartender, it’s always a girl who can spot the open spot to order from. If you need a napkin, boom, a girl has located one and gotten it for you. I used to think that it was because women were more observant, but now I think it is the power of the V… And by V I mean, um, Virginia…

A friend from college and I have been back in touch through Facebook recently, and I have to admit that I am thoroughly pleased I accepted her friend request. To be completely honest I wasn’t sure I was going to… But one of her most recent Facebook posts was as follows “was driving and let some skanky girls cross the road. A really good friend of mine is moving to Singapore in January and she just returned from being there for the very first time.  She took beautiful pictures of the city, the water, the people, the culture and the food.  But, there was this one picture that I just thought was really really weird…

When I was a little girl I got soooo excited about seeing car carriers. I don’t have any memory of this but apparently when most little girls carried around dolls I was seen toting around a little blue metal car carrier. Apparently the first thing I wanted to be when I “growed up” was a driver of a car carrier!

As I bent over to open the lock and get my clothes off, I heard someone shout my name. Instinctively, I rapidly turned around toward the voice, and–smack–slammed half of my face against the naked body standing next to me. As I bounced back from the impact, I realized that I’d made full contact with this woman’s rear end–a locker room fender bender.
